CEF Executive Director Ed Kealy Quoted in Education Daily (June 24, 2008)

CEF Executive Director Edward Kealy was quoted regarding Obama’s pledge to support teachers. In response to Obama’s pledge to support teachers and reauthorize NCLB if elected, Kealy said “His statement to the mayors is very encouraging if he’s going to follow through. What we need is a partner to get behind fully funding NCLB and IDEA and other initiatives he’s proposed. That’s what we desperately need after all these years of not having a partner, having more of a critic. I think he’s putting himself on the line to make significant investments in education.
